About PAYEWise

PAYEWise is an independent information service. It is not part of Revenue, the Office of the Revenue Commissioners, or any government body, and it does not use Revenue logos, crests or official seals.
What we do
- Explain Irish taxes, return forms and entitlements in plain English.
- Provide deterministic calculators that show their working and the rule version they used.
- Point you to the free official route in myAccount or ROS for every claim.
What we never do
- Ask for your myAccount or ROS password, ROS certificate, PPSN or bank details.
- Receive refunds on your behalf or take a percentage of a refund.
- Market a calculated figure as a confirmed refund.
- File a return for you. If a separately authorised agent service is ever added, it will be clearly separate and legally reviewed.
Accuracy
Every factual rule is backed by a dated Revenue, manual or legislative source listed in our source register. Figures are refreshed after each Budget and Finance Act. See the editorial policy.
